The Conference is the fifth and perhaps the last in the recent series of ‘Witness Seminars’ held in conjunction with the Institute of Commonwealth Studies, London University. The Conference will hear from high-profile speakers who can personally recall the closing years of colonial rule, and judge the effects and consequences for the people and places there. There will be time for discussion from the floor at each session. The Conference is open to anyone with an interest in the subject. Tickets for the Conference are £10 each (standard); £5 each (students) to include finger buffet lunch and evening drinks' reception.
