The purpose of the meeting is to
develop strategy to advance the Reparations movement in the UK. This includes
the creation of an Afrikan led UK commission for Reparations.
COME AND HELP
BUILD THE REPARATIONS MOVEMENT NOW!
Reparations are global
demands. We will share our links with Brazil, as an example of our international
connections. A delegate from the UFFC supported by GACuk and RMT trade union
will share the common experiences of African Brazilians and Afrikans in the UK,
including impoverishment and state sponsored deaths.
We will discuss our
continued demand for Reparations and the further development of the Global
Afrikan Congress. This will include the importance of commemorating the
formation of Marcus Garvey’s UNIA – ACL (African Communities League)
in 2014.
THIS WILL BE
A SOLUTIONS FOCUSED AND STRATEGIZING MEETING.
